This policy applies to information collected through kilomarket.co.zw, our contact form, email, telephone, WhatsApp, social media and direct business interactions.

Kilomarket Pvt Ltd provides web design and hosting, graphic design and branding, printing and promotional products and social media services through its brands and service units, including SAKA and Kilohost.

For the personal information covered by this policy, Kilomarket Pvt Ltd is the data controller unless we are processing information solely on behalf of a client.

Our website does not currently provide customer accounts or collect payment-card details through an online checkout.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a service and we have agreed on an appropriate way to receive it.

Where Kilohost or Kilomarket hosts, maintains or supports a website for a client, we may process information stored on that website only as necessary to provide hosting, security, backup or technical support.

The client remains responsible for the personal information that the client chooses to collect through its own website, including providing its own appropriate privacy notices and instructions to users.

9. International Processing

Some service providers used for website hosting, analytics, email, backups, WhatsApp, social media or technical support may store or process information outside Zimbabwe. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate safeguards, having regard to the nature of the information and applicable data-protection requirements.

10. How Long We Keep Information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

  • Enquiries that do not become projects are normally retained for no longer than 12 months, unless continued communication is requested or another legitimate reason applies
  • Client, project, quotation, invoice and transaction records may generally be retained for up to six years after the last relevant transaction to meet accounting, tax, contractual and dispute-resolution requirements
  • Website security logs and analytics information are retained according to the relevant system settings and are deleted or anonymised when no longer reasonably required
  • Information may be retained for longer where required by law, necessary for an active dispute or needed to protect legal rights

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it.
